Barcelona Test Day 1

Day 1 - Day 2 - Day 3 - Day 4

2nd Test Day 1 at Barcelona

Pastor Maldonado completed 29 laps of running in the FW33 today following a KERS fault during the morning session. He finished 10th quickest with a time of 1:26.989 at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya on the Venezuelan driver’s 26th birthday.

Sam Michael, Technical Director: It has not been a productive day for us after we had a KERS fault first thing this morning. We removed the system and were able to get out for some limited running late afternoon.

Pastor Maldonado: It hasn’t been a good day as we didn’t complete our planned programme. We unfortunately didn’t get enough running in to make too much progress.

AT&T Williams will be back on track tomorrow, Thursday 10 February, with Rubens Barrichello driving the FW33 for the second day of the test.
